ISC DIG - Domain Information Groper

Dig is one of my favourite tools.  I didn't know that dig was actually an acronym for Domain Information Groper.  I still wish that the ISC would make a separate package for its tools.  I get nervous downloading some random persons repackaging of these tools.

Microsoft's Windows Power Shell

Power Shell, formally known as Monad, is great, and it is highly extensible.  I have not begun to touch the surface with it.

After having recently moved to Edinburgh, I had left all my Linux boxes behind, and only took my Vista notebook with me, so today I needed to dig (more on dig soon) some stuff to see if something had propagated through the Internet DNS. Anyway ...

I miss my Linux boxes, and used them almost exclusively until the big move, so I needed a more powerful shell than just the standard windows command shell.

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog!  This blog will be about philosophy, the study of knowledge.  In particular, it focuses on our environment, and technology.

There may be other stuff of interest at the main Hack Binary webpage.
