Dig is one of my favourite tools. I didn't know that dig was actually an acronym for Domain Information Groper. I still wish that the ISC would make a separate package for its tools. I get nervous downloading some random persons repackaging of these tools.
Power Shell, formally known as Monad, is great, and it is highly extensible. I have not begun to touch the surface with it.
After having recently moved to Edinburgh, I had left all my Linux boxes behind, and only took my Vista notebook with me, so today I needed to dig (more on dig soon) some stuff to see if something had propagated through the InternetDNS. Anyway ...
I miss my Linux boxes, and used them almost exclusively until the big move, so I needed a more powerful shell than just the standard windows command shell.
